Building Services Introduction

Building Services has responsibility for the delivery of maintenance and minor works across all RVC sites.
 
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is an annual programme of maintenance work for all RVC buildings across the estate as well as all the plant and major services within those buildings. We also carry out planned maintenance on other major areas, such as water, gas and electricity services as well as roads, car-parks and borders.
 
Reactive maintenance is maintenance that is carried out as and when required. A need for reactive work is typically reported on the EOSS system, which is also managed by the Building Services team.
 
Building Services also manage a wide variety of minor works. Minor works could include small- to medium-sized refurbishment works, as well as small building projects. Large new-build project are managed by the Project Management Team.
