Emergencies
The Building Services team manages an out-of-hours emergency callout service for both Hawkshead and Camden.
In the event of an out-of-hours emergency at one of the main campuses, the security office at the relevant campus should be contacted, and they will ensure a maintenance technician to attend to the emergency as soon as is feasible.

Fire
In the event of a fire, the fire alarm system automatically detects the location and notifies the permanently manned off-site fire monitoring service employed by the college.
In turn the monitoring service notifies our security office - and a decision is made immediately as to whether the fire department is to be called or not. If for any reason our security office is unable to be reached, the fire brigade is called automatically.
