Reception Services

The receptions on both campuses are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 08.45 and 17.00.  

Visitors

All visitors should report to reception to obtain a visitors badge. Staff should pre-register a visitor in advance to save waiting time by using the VISITORNET system, which can be found on the intranet home page – Quick Links – Book in a Visitor.    

A limited number of bookable parking spaces for visitors are available, full details in the ‘Parking’ section of this site.
 
The receptionists are there to help staff, students and visitors with queries relating to the following:
 
  • General and telephone enquiries
  • Tickets for student transport
  • Up to date student transport and staff minibus timetables
  • Sports pitch bookings  (Hawkshead only a.m.)
  • Switchboard service
  • Taxi bookings
  • Payment for personal items of post
  • Arranging conference calls
  • International dialling
