Security
Security is responsible for the following:
- Providing 24 hour security on both campuses through external security contractors headed by our own RVC Head of Security
- Carrying out regular patrols during the night and at weekends
- Providing monitored CCTV coverage
- Providing a response and investigation capacity for intruder and fire alarms
- Managing the door access control system
- Liaising with the local Community Police Officers on a regular basis, to discuss issues of concern
- Providing an emergency call-out service for Maintenance staff outside of normal working hours
- Managing the id access control system
- Issuing staff and student identification/access cards
- Managing the car parking facilities and issue permits between the hours of 10.00 and 16.00.
