Northumberland Hall Replacement

The scheme provides 191 study rooms with en-suite toilets and shower rooms.  The study rooms are arranged in modules of 6 rooms set out in twin blocks around a central 'cloistered' garden space.  Each room grouping also has the added benefit of a shared kitchen and social space.

The new refectory has proved very popular and the new conference facilities are now being used for CPD and alumni events.

The residence scheme was completed at the end of September 2011 and new planting and soft landscaping are becoming established contributing to the general aesthetic of the scheme.

The project has been short listed for a RIBA residential award.
